I wrote this one-shot back in 2009 but haven't mustered up enough courage to share it with everyone until now. ^^; Go easy? I tried to stay accurate to the books as much as possible, but there are very little details on the history of the House of Oropher, aside from Legolas's adventures in the LOTR and Thranduil's appearance in The Hobbit. I just remembered something I'd read a really long time ago, but I can't remember much, but now I need to find it so I can at least assure myself I'm not imagining things.
Okay, has anyone heard of this?
All I remember is that for some reason Gimli gets very angry with Legolas and shoves him into a wall. I think he ends up hurt from it? I also seem to remember something about raids going on in which dwarf women are killed, but that could be something completely different. Help? Please?

Hello folks, I'm new around here :)
About a year ago, the author "Evendim" deleted several of her fics. These had titles such as "The House of Telcontar" (one I happen to remember). They dealt with a sort of AU wherein Faramir left Gondor as a young man, and met Aragorn, and they travelled together for years with Faramir disguised as a ranger named Faron.
I loved all of these Faron/Aragorn these fics desperately, and was wondering if anyone has them saved on their computers and would be willing to send them to me.

Hello! I'm Swyrel, and I was in the LotR fandom many years ago. Recently, I have begun to move back into the fandom and am trying to locate a fic that I read before.
The fic I'm looking for is a Legolas/OFC (about the only one I could stand). Basically it took place in Greenwood/Mirkwood before the whole Ring era. It starts off with a spring festival where the male Elves chase the female Elves and end up with the one they catch for the day. So basically Legolas chases after this female Elf (I believe her name was Nessa at first, but it was since changed as the story was edited). The Elf doesn't want him chasing her, but once she gets that through his thick head, she realizes that she fell in love with him, blah blah blah.
The story was hosted both on ff.net and an original site I believe. I'm currently searching through the whole romance section of ff.net, with no luck.
If anyone can help me find this story, I will be eternally grateful! <3
